The Cyber Forward Initiative

Free presentations and online courses for individuals of all ages to learn critical cybersecurity and AI knowledge.

The Cyber Forward Initiative delivers clear, engaging sessions that help older adults and students feel confident and secure in today’s digital world. We break down modern topics like AI, deepfakes, and cybersecurity in a way that’s easy to understand, focusing on real‑life skills such as recognizing scams, protecting personal information, creating safer passwords, and spotting misleading online content. Each talk is designed to be friendly, practical, and empowering, giving older adults and students the knowledge they need to navigate technology with clarity and confidence. Funding will help us acquire materials to run hackathons and presentations, giving the participants the chance to take home prizes and pamphlets, as well.
