Open Minds Foundation is a youth-led nonprofit organization aimed at equipping Canadian high school students with the essential business knowledge, financial skills, practical experiences, and confidence to turn ideas into action. Founded in 2025, we have engaged 3000+ students through workshops and conferences, contributed $50,000+ to the community, and generated more than $17,500 in value in direct conference accessibilities to our participants. Each of our business case competitions brings together over 300 high school students per conference to tackle real-world business cases, collaborate, and develop team synergy and leadership skills. Our financial literacy and incubator programs extend the learning beyond competitions and help students realize their interests and make their dreams come true. Currently, the foundation is expanding coast to coast in Canada, building a national community where young people can learn through experience, support each other, and develop skills to shape the next generation of leaders in the country.
