Junior Economist Club of Canada

We help youths in Canada explore business through free workshops, seminars, and case comps, regardless of socio-economic background.

Junior Economist Club of Canada — project cover

JEC Canada is a federally registered non-profit run by students dedicated to promote learning and interest about the world of business. We host workshops, seminars, case competitions, and economic forums, and we also publish the Junior Economist, a writing publication where students share their own takes on economic issues. Everything we offer is free, so students can take part regardless of their socio-economic background and meet peers, professionals, and opportunities they might not otherwise reach. Funding will go toward venue rentals, food, speaker costs, prizes, and event materials. This covers the core costs of running our events and keeps everything we offer free. With this support, we can run more workshops and events, reach students in more communities across the country, and make sure a student's background doesn't decide whether they get a fair chance to learn about business.
