GlobalYouth Hack

A 12-hour high school hackathon for immigrant youth to build creative tech solutions and learn English through their native languages.

GlobalYouth Hack is a 12-hour youth-led hackathon designed specifically for immigrant and newcomer high school students in our community. Language barriers often isolate these students from technology and peer collaboration. This event provides an empowering space where participants from similar cultural backgrounds form teams to build tech prototypes—specifically focus on creating mobile apps that help newcomers learn English through their native languages. Throughout the day, students will brainstorm, collaborate, and develop practical coding and design skills. To ensure full accessibility and keep energy high during the 12-hour sprint, all meals, snacks, and prototyping materials will be fully provided. GlobalYouth Hacks is more than a competition; it is a launchpad that turns cultural diversity into a technological strength, building confidence and fostering an inclusive community for young change-makers.
