CREATE Conference Council

Annual 3-day conference for 130+ students to prompt youth-led initiatives that cultivates meaningful changes in their communities.

CREATE Conference Council — project cover

CREATE was founded in 2014 as a club at Pierre Elliott Trudeau High School and became an independent not-for-profit organization in 2017, reaching over 12,000 students across the GTA. Annually, CREATE hosts a two-night leadership conference where over 130 students come together in teams to plan and carry out meaningful initiatives that address issues affecting their communities. Through grassroots campaigns and awareness initiatives, students gain hands-on experience while developing leadership, teamwork, and other 21st-century skills. Funding goes directly toward supporting youth and making the conference as accessible as possible. As costs continue to rise, this support would help cover expenses such as venue costs, transportation, meals, refreshments, and activity materials. It would also provide each team with funding to help launch their own wellness initiative after the conference. With this support, CREATE can continue giving young people the resources, confidence, and opportunities they need to make real community impact.
