BASE Future Business Leaders: Entrepreneurship & Leadership Initiative
Launching a student-led entrepreneurship and leadership program with hands-on business challenges, workshops, and career exploration.

We're launching a new Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter at the Beaverton Academy of Science and Engineering to give students opportunities to explore business, entrepreneurship, and leadership through hands-on experiences. Our school has approved the chapter for the 2026–27 school year, and we're building a student-led program that goes beyond traditional club meetings. Students will work in teams to develop business ideas, tackle real-world challenges, participate in entrepreneurship workshops, connect with professionals, and prepare for competitive business events. We want students to develop practical skills in communication, financial literacy, marketing, and problem-solving, regardless of their prior experience. The $1,000 grant would help us host interactive workshops, purchase shared materials, organize a school entrepreneurship challenge, and provide resources for students who might otherwise be unable to participate. Our goal is to build a sustainable chapter that empowers students to turn ideas into action.
